T-SOCS main focus is building partnerships. All our efforts are centered around facilitating and strengthening those partnerships.
DAY ONE: COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS WORKSHOP
8:30 AM TO 11:30 AM
How community service organizations build effective collaborations with the church and faith-based organizations.
Participants will gain deeper understandings into the building blocks of effective community outreach between faith-based and community organizations. Attendees will also learn how to avoid common collaboration pitfalls and areas of sensitivity within each sector. The workshop will even allow participants to benefit from practical exercises that will serve as launching points for real-life collaborations.

DAY ONE: FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS WORKSHOP
1:00 PM TO 4:30 PM
How churches and faith-based organizations build effective collaborations with community organizations/agencies.
Participants will gain a better understanding into the building blocks of effective collaboration with community organizations and agencies that includes their culture and common language as well as goals. Attendees will learn how to develop shared documents that will make collaboration with community organizations and agencies more productive.

DAY TWO: ALL DAY WORKSHOP
8:30 AM TO 4:30 PM
How community service and organizations/agencies establish strategic Development plans to build collaborative sustainable partnerships.
Attendees will learn how to take organizational and community visions and turn them into realities by implementing the building blocks of effective strategic development. Areas that will be covered include organizational development, program development, resource development, board development and many others. Participants will be given strategic development templates to assist in their efforts and formulating and effective plan.
